Scott Ellerby’s main areas of practice are business law, real estate litigation, probate, trusts and estates litigation, municipal law, creditor-debtor law, commercial transactions, banking law, construction law, and commercial litigation. He has lectured at numerous legal seminars on topics in his practice areas, and has represented a wide range of private clients, corporations, and government entities in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and bench and jury trials in state, district, and bankruptcy federal courts. Scott was a contributing author of the Washington Lawyers Practice Manual, and has authored several chapters in legal reference guides. He was chair of the King County Bar Association Real Property, Probate and Trust Section, and has been active in volunteer positions with the Washington State and King County Bar Associations. Scott is frequently selected as an arbitrator by other lawyers and serves as a hearing officer for the WSBA, acting as the judge in cases concerning legal ethics and compliance.
